NFDB
The headquarters of the National Fisheries Development Committee ( NFDB ) in Hyderabad, India, is designed to look like a “land fish”. The 4-storey building is shaped like a silver carp with three fins, a tail and an open mouth.
Giant Koala (Australia)
Built in 1988 with bronze and steel and quickly becoming a tourist attraction. In 2009, the project was named Sam to commemorate a koala died in the wildfire in Australia.
Giraffe Childcare Center (France)
Designed by architect Peteelatte Laporte, the building looks like a yellow giraffe trapped inside a silver slab.

The elephant villa at Kumbuk River Resort ( Sri Lanka ) is shaped like an elephant made from wood and straw. With big ears and stout feet treading on the surrounding plants, the “beast” really blended in with the Sri Lankan jungle.
